ERM LABS introduces The Wonder World
ERM LABS has introduced its first escape room IP, The Wonder World. It has been architected in association with The Sandbox with captivating gameplay experiences. The collection comes with a total of seven such experiences. The idea is to replicate all the wonders of the virtual world, starting with Atlantis – The Lost Kingdom.
The first wonder has a story set for the community. Players will have to venture out to solve puzzles and find clues to unravel the secrets of the city. The underwater world has been identified as legendary based on how events have unfolded on paper. Atlantis was previously home to a civilization with great knowledge and technological capabilities.
It did become wicked and impious at a later stage after the Athenians defeated nine powerful princes along with their allies. It is said that all the princes attempted to defeat them several times but failed to do so. The sea eventually engulfed the island.
ERM LABS has also asked the community to prepare for THSQ, which is the Treasure Hunt Social Quest. The event brings with it a couple of brain-teasing adventures, combining rewarding tasks with social media engagement. THSQ is going live in association with creators, gaming studios, guilds, and NFT communities.
ERM LABS has provided yet another exciting update pertaining to the Wonderist Collection. The Avatar collection has six Wonderists with a thousand supplies for each category, bringing the total to 6,000 units in supply. All of them have unique attributes, different backstories, and different rarity levels. Every Avatar is tasked with engaging with The Wonder World, allowing players to earn rewards, receiving monthly airdrops, and joining treasure hunt events.
An official announcement by ERM LABS further sheds light on the roadmap for 2024. It begins with the launch of the first Wonder in January. The second and third Wonders will make an appearance between April and June. The second would be the Pyramids of Giza, and the third would be the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Needless to say, more wonders will be introduced later.
THSQ and social contests will follow the launch of the first Wonder. These have been mentioned in the official announcement, including Treasure Hunt Social Quest and weekly competitions. The Wonderist NFT collection will launch in March–April. It will be done in collaboration with The Sandbox, Astar Network, and other partners.
June–December is a phase that has been dedicated to bringing out the best of P2E and tournaments. ERM Labs is working to use first-to-third gameplay to create a competitive eSport. Finally, the fourth quarter of 2024 will see the fourth and fifth Wonders come to life. In the said order, these are the Statue of Zeus at Olympia and the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus.
Developments are headed to The Sandbox, but an impact on its native token, SAND, is yet to be seen. It is down by 4.21% in the last 24 hours, listed at $0.4432 at the time of drafting this article.
